Pretty pillowcases

What a great way to use up my ridiculously huge fabric stash! I just love these pillowcases, especially the cotton lace edge, just so pretty. I'm going to make lots and lots before I upload them to my store.

Well hello there, welcome to my very first post at Kip & Eve's!

I'm Amanda (some of you might remember me from Little Star Designs) things have changed A LOT since my Little Star days, hence my new blog.  I needed to move on from the old and move into the new (which is a little ironic considering this blog will be about the old). My 3 children are growing up, I'm now a single mum,  I'm moving away from the baby scene and I am enjoying my love of all things 'from the olden days' as my children would say.

I am lucky enough to live in a gorgeous little 1966 'shack' in Cooee Bay, just a couple of blocks back from the greatest little beach around. This little house has inspired me to stop buying things brand new and to hit the op shops instead, I could say this has become a bit of an obsession.  Rockhampton and Yeppoon are blessed with some great op shops and everytime I visit I ALWAYS come back with a treasure or two.

Kip & Eve's isn't just about a blog, it's going to be a store too. Maybe you might find some vintage inspired pillow cases that I have sewn, or some funky cushions, whatever takes my fancy on the day. Maybe I will upcycle something I have found at the op shop and if I can bear to part with it I will (I can only fit so much in my little house!).

I'm not really sure where this is all going to end up, but I hope you enjoy the journey!
